Christmas Eve

So here we are on Christmas Eve getting ready to eat our yummy Christmas Eve dinner! My friend 's the Whatcott's had me and my fmialy and the Hatch's over for dinner! It was so yummy! We had ham, cheesy potatoes, brocolli, salad, and homemade rolls, mmmm mmmm!! Fox loved this little bouncer chair so much that he fell asleeo sitting in it! What a sweetie!
We got together at the end and took some family pictures, Fox wasn't so happy, but everyone else looks good!!
This is Jojo, Travis and their two boys Hudson and Remy! This is their beautiful house where we all gathered and enjoyed the coveted central air they have!! As you can see more then one of us was taking a picture of them, but at least I got Remy looking at me!
This is Zach and Katie, the other family who was there, they also have a gorgeous little girl Mia!
We attempted to get a group picture of the kids and of all the ones I took this one was the best, despite the hand in the picture! I love how Remy is trying to take off Haley's hat and Hudson and Mia are looking at each other! It was such a fun Christmas eve with our friends here in Puerto Rico!!

Christmas Cookies!

So I'm trying to get caught up on my blog here, so Haley, Weston and I decided to make cookies the day before Christmas Eve! It was really fun, the kids helped roll out the dough and cut out the cookies, then we all decorated them!! After we finished we decided to bring them to our neighbors that we barely knew! I figured it was time to try and get to know them better since we have lived here for a year and a half now! But since they only speak spanish I have always made excuses! But we put the cookies together and added a pass along card on top and brought them to our neighbors! And it was really great! I was able to communicate with them and they were really sweet a nd appreciative!! Sorry about this picture, Weston really isn't flipping you off! He just had frosting on his fingers, ha ha, so funny!
Our finished product!! Don't they look yummy! The kids were very creative!

Weston's Party!

So Weston had his school party too on the the same day as Haley's last week! It was quite a day! He had treats and his class sang us songs and acted out the story of "The Gingerbread Man". They even had Santa come visit!
Weston was the farmer in the story and he was so cute! He said all of his lines right and did everything he was so supposed to do! He makes me so proud!
Here he is running to catch the Gingerbread Man!
Weston and one of his friends, Elvin. Such a cute boy proudly wearing his gingerbread man hat!
And this was quite the miracle! Weston has been terrified of Santa so when I heard he was coming to the party I was a little worried, and sure enough when Santa came Weston ran to me with a look of sheer terror! He hid behind me clutching my legs! But as he watched the the other kids go sit on his lap, he decided that it wasn't so bad. So here he is happily sitting on Santa's lap, yeah for Weston!! Sorry the pictures not so clear, I was holding Fox at the time!

Christmas Party!

Haley had her class Christmas party last week, and she had a blast! They rotated playing games, eating treats, and decorating gingerbread cookies! Here she is with her friend Mary after they opened their presnet from their teacher, Mrs. Jimenez!

I love this one! Here's Haley with her friends Andrew and Hope decorating their cookies! I told everyone to smile and this is what I got, you can really tell the personalities of these kids!

"O Christmas Tree"

So I was supposed to post this a long time ago but I have had no time! It has been so crazy these past couple of weeks with Christmas coming and the kids having there end of the year parties, I feel like I never have a minute to spare! But we did put up our Chrstimas tree the week after Thanksgiving, and it was really fun! I love doing things as a family, and watching my kids enjoy all the Christmas traditions!
Weston wanted to put the star on the tree, so here he is very proudly placing it on top, what a sweet boy!
Weston was so cute decorating the tree because he would walk to the same place every time I gave him an ornament and put it in the same spot, creating a nice little cluster of ornaments! So I told him to try a new spot for this one!
I love this one! Haley is very carefully placing the ornament on the tree with a sweet smile and Weston is being his crazy self in the background! I love having the Christmas tree up in the house!
