This last weekend we went to Gilligan's Island! It's a little island off of the south part of Puerto Rico. It takes about 2 hours to get to the ferry and then about 20 minutes to get to the island, and it is really cool!! We went there last year too but we had to go to the island next store and I was really morning sick so this trip was much better!! We went with 3 other families and we had a great time!! In the picture above we are riding over on the ferry, and the picture below Weston is showing me his buckets, it was a great place for the kids to play in the water, because it was so calm. You can also see Phil and Andy snorkeling in the back ground and Hudson running through the water, which is what he did pretty much the whole time!!
Fox was really good the whole time, despite the fact that he had an ear infection! He played and slept in his stroller and even floated around in the water for awhile! I love the picture below because is shows you really how clear and pretty the ocean was! Don't mind how white I am, you'd think I lived in the carribean or something!
There was lots of trees and sand for the kids to play in too! I think Hudson must have gotten a mouth full here, LOL! Below Haley and her friends Sara and Emma made a little pool of their own!
On the way back I took this picture of Weston looking out at the water, it was so beautiful as the sun was catching the calm water! It was a really great day!
So the other day I came home and found this waiting for me in my garage! At first it totally scared me, then I looked at it and thought it was pretty cool. It just sat there for awhile and let me take pictures even when I got really close! Then a few minutes later I went back out to check if it was still there and it was gone! I'm just glad it was in my garage and not my living room! Just another reminder that I live in Puerto Rico!
Thanks to Jojo we have this bouncer for Fox to use! Every time we went over to the Whatcotts I would put Fox in this bouncer and he LOVED it!! So when her little boy was too big for it, she let us use it! And as you can see Fox loves it still! He will bounce and bounce and then fall asleep. I love watching him fall asleep as he's bouncing, it's so funny! So here are a couple of pictures of him sleeping so sweet! Thanks Jojo!! I have video of him bouncing away but I don't know have the connection to put it on here too :(!
So the other day when the kids were out of school, we were getting pretty bored and it was a really nice and hot day so we decided to get out the slip and slide! It was really fun, Haley and Weston took turns sliding and slipping and I happily watched and took pictures, although I did get pretty hot and slid a few times myself! The pictures I got turned out pretty cool, I love how I caught them in action!
