Weston's Party!

So Weston had his school party too on the the same day as Haley's last week! It was quite a day! He had treats and his class sang us songs and acted out the story of "The Gingerbread Man". They even had Santa come visit!
Weston was the farmer in the story and he was so cute! He said all of his lines right and did everything he was so supposed to do! He makes me so proud!
Here he is running to catch the Gingerbread Man!
Weston and one of his friends, Elvin. Such a cute boy proudly wearing his gingerbread man hat!
And this was quite the miracle! Weston has been terrified of Santa so when I heard he was coming to the party I was a little worried, and sure enough when Santa came Weston ran to me with a look of sheer terror! He hid behind me clutching my legs! But as he watched the the other kids go sit on his lap, he decided that it wasn't so bad. So here he is happily sitting on Santa's lap, yeah for Weston!! Sorry the pictures not so clear, I was holding Fox at the time!

Christmas Party!

Haley had her class Christmas party last week, and she had a blast! They rotated playing games, eating treats, and decorating gingerbread cookies! Here she is with her friend Mary after they opened their presnet from their teacher, Mrs. Jimenez!

I love this one! Here's Haley with her friends Andrew and Hope decorating their cookies! I told everyone to smile and this is what I got, you can really tell the personalities of these kids!

"O Christmas Tree"

So I was supposed to post this a long time ago but I have had no time! It has been so crazy these past couple of weeks with Christmas coming and the kids having there end of the year parties, I feel like I never have a minute to spare! But we did put up our Chrstimas tree the week after Thanksgiving, and it was really fun! I love doing things as a family, and watching my kids enjoy all the Christmas traditions!
Weston wanted to put the star on the tree, so here he is very proudly placing it on top, what a sweet boy!
Weston was so cute decorating the tree because he would walk to the same place every time I gave him an ornament and put it in the same spot, creating a nice little cluster of ornaments! So I told him to try a new spot for this one!
I love this one! Haley is very carefully placing the ornament on the tree with a sweet smile and Weston is being his crazy self in the background! I love having the Christmas tree up in the house!

Beach Day!

So last Saturday we finally made it to the beach! It's the first time that we've been since we came home from summer vacation, also making it Fox's first time at the beach! I can't believe it! But with a new baby it's not always so easy to get out! We went to our favorite beach, Cerro Gordo, and it was beautiful! The weather was perfect, the water was warm, and the sand was soft! Haley always insists that we make her a sand mermaid whenever we visit the beach! Isn't she beautiful!
Fox was really good the whole time, he seemed to enjoy being outside, but not being in the water! He flinched and started to cry when I dipped his foot in the ocean!
I love this picture of Sean and Weston, it's like Sean and his little mini him! They were watching the sand cover their feet!
Although Fox did enjoy the beach, he slept for about half the time we were there, which I was very happy about!

Ladies Night!

Thursday night I got to go out with some of my friends!! It was so much fun, we all left our kids home with their daddies, even our babies, and really enjoyed ourselves! Since there were no good movies to see, we opted for a late dinner at Chili's! I can't remember the last time I luaghed that hard! The food was yummy, the conversation was hilarious and the company was awesome! Thanks for great night out girls! My friends from left, Lily, Me, Katie, and Amy!

It's always good to get away and relax and laugh with girlfriends! It gives me an excuse to dress up, which I love to do, since on a day to day basis I'm just running around in grubbies, and it gives me a chance to realize how much I love and miss my kids when I don't see them for a few hours! And it reminds me how awesome my husband is to support me and watch the kids whenever I need him to!!

Halloween, Trick-or-Treat!

So here we are on Halloween trick-or-treating in my friend Jojo's neighborhood! Weston was dressed up as a cowboy/Indiana Jones (notice the "whip" in his hand) and Haley was a fairy!! I even made an effort and dressed up as a black cat, we had a great time walking the streets of the neighborhood, it almost felt like home except for how warm it was!!The next night we went to our ward trunk-or-treat party! Haley wanted to be a ballerina and Weston still a cowboy/Indiana Jones with a new hat! There were lots of games and a spooky alley before the actual trunk-or-treat and the kids had a blast! Of course for my kids it's all about the experience of Halloween because once it's all over they seem to be over everything, even the candy! It usually sits at our house for a month then I throw it away! Crazy kids!

Our family at the ward party, this is the only picture I got of Fox in his skeleton costume! How could I have been such a slacker!

School Parties

Haley and Weston had their school parties last week, and they were so cute! Haley had a more grown-up party this year that the class had planned themselves. They decided to bring food and bob for apples! Haley wanted to bring mashed potatoes, while everyone else was bringing cookies, punch, chips, etc. I thought that was pretty funny, but I convinced her to let me bring chips and dip instead, yeah, less work for me!Haley dove right in to try and get an apple! I was quite impressed, even though she was unsuccessful! Thanks to Amy for catching this moment on camera for me!

Weston was dressed up like a scarecrow and sang a little scarecrow song and a fall song! He was so cute doing all the actions! And he even knew all the words to the songs and sang them nice and loud! I was so proud at how well he listened to his teacher and did what he was asked to do!
His class also made spiders that they could eat, but of course Weston passed, he doesn't like to eat things that require him to get sticky or messy!! What a silly kid!!

First Smile Caught on Camera!

Well I have been meaning to put this on here for some time now but I haven't had any time to do it! Fox started smiling about a month ago but I could never get a picture of it. But he loves getting his diaper changed and he loves laying on his changing table, he smiles so much there, go figure! So one day when I was about to change his diaper, he started smiling and cooing at me and I finally got it! But it's still not the biggest smile that he does! I need to take the picture when I'm not the one trying to make him smile!!

Snake Charmer

So this is an old picture, as you can see , I am 8 months pregnant here!! But I had to put it on here, because it's so cool, and my sister just sent it to me! We went to a reptile show at The Bean Museum in Utah this last summer and they let you hold the reptiles if you want to!! Of course I wanted to! I have always loved reptiles, I would have them as pets if I didn't already have three kids, a husband and a dog to take care of! Also I had to show my cute family that was there with me, from the left, it's my brother Dave, my sister Thora, me, duh, and my brother Jake. We grew up going to the museum so it was really fun being there with them!

First Day of School

So I'm trying to get caught up on all the things that have happened since we got back to Puerto Rico. Both Haley and Weston started school the day after we got back! And it's Weston's first time going to school! We drove Haley in to her first day of first grade and all went well, Haley has always wanted to go to school and she loves being at school, I'm so proud of her, she is so smart!! But Weston was not excited about going to school for the first time. Every time I talked about it he would say, "No Mommy, I'm not going to school, I'm going to stay home with you!" It was so sweet, but I worried he would put up a fight. Fortunately he loves it! I went with him on his first day and he was so cute, with his big backpack and uniform! He was already making friends when I left him that day! I'm so proud of him and can't believe that my "baby" has grown up and is going to school!
